Riding the B-Line just got a whole lot easier. You can now buy your B-Line tickets and passes right on your smartphone. No need to carry cash or make a special trip to the ticket office. Simply board the bus, tap your phone to the validator, and you are on your way. 
You can purchase whatever passes you need from anywhere. They can be purchased for immediate use or plan ahead and store them for future use. The B-Line Mobile Pass, powered by the Token Transit app, can be used on all B-Line Fixed Route and Paratransit vehicles.

Search Token Transit in the App Store or Google Play; or go to; or text TOKEN to 41411.
The B-Line Mobile Pass/Token Transit app is accepted on all B-Line Fixed Route and Paratransit vehicles .

Your passes and payment information are linked to the account associated with your phone number. They are not linked to your physical phone. Logging in with your phone number on a new device will restore your previous pass & payment information

If you change your phone #, all your info can be transferred to the new phone #. Contact Token Transit support for assistance

On Fixed Route - all 1-ride, 2-ride & 10-ride passes, along with 1-day and 30-day passes. This includes all Local & Regional tickets and Regular, Discount & Youth)

On Paratransit - 1-ride & 10-ride passes, along with same-day and all zone (1, 2 & 3) passes.

Multiple passes, in any quantity, can be purchased at any time. For example, you can purchase three Single Ride Local passes, an All Day youth pass and a Regional 30-day Discount pass at the same time. Just click on the "Buy More" option at the check out screen.

An Internet connection required when purchasing your pass and when activating your pass. Once activated, no connection is required to validate the pass on the bus.
Single ride passes expire 30 minutes from the time they are activated.

All purchased passes are shown on your screen when the app is opened. Passes which have been purchased, but not yet activated are shown under "Stored Passes".

Passes which have been activated are displayed with the amount of days and/or minutes left on them.

You can view a log of all your pass usage by going into your Account Settings and selecting "History".
Yes, you can use a many single ride passes as needed when boarding the pass. This comes in handy if you are with family or friends. Simply activate the number of passes you'll need from your Stored passes. The number you have activated will now appear in your list of activate passes. When you board the bus just open each one individually to validate it. NOTE: If you are activating more than one single ride pass, just click the word "hide" at the top right corner of the screen to activate the next pass.
Yes, you can buy passes and send them to the phone of a family member or friend. This is a great way for parents to give passes to their kids (who often end up losing their pass). Just go to .
All personal and credit card information is securely stored using Token Transit's encrypted Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant server.

So that everyone is speaking the same language, here are a few terms and what they mean:

BUY - Purchase a pass that is now available under "Stored Passes."

ACTIVATE - Opening and confirming you want to use a stored pass. Once you confirm you want to use a pass, it has now been activated. Once activated, a ride pass is valid for 30 minutes, while a 30-day pass is valid for 30-days.
It takes about 10-15 seconds to verify you pass, so please activate it BEFORE stepping on the bus. As soon as you see the bus approaching your stop we recommend activating it at that time.

VALIDATE - Upon boarding the bus, hold your phone, with the activated pass, next to the TT beacon on the farebox. When it beeps and the screen changes color, the pass has now been activated and you are good to go.

BEACON - The little white box with a blue TT label (about the size of a deck of cards), on the farebox. The beacon is what you hold your phone next to, to validate it.

TIMEOUT - Once a 30-day (or same-day) pass is validated on a bus, there is a 10-minute window before the pass can be used again.
